This is just a test to see if this platform still works.
JBorckardtYep... still works. Looks like that 5 MB limit thing is for real though.

Check this out... I mixed this mofo together to create a delightful dance party the whole family can enjoy.
LimeslimeGreat mix Jeff! Sorry I havent checked the site in so long... But its like that episode of Dr. Who when Blondie shows up and has the key to the tardis hidden in her cleavage. Killer!

I wanted to write and record something easy to get drum, guitar and flute tones, and I ended up ripping off Neil Young. Enjoy.
limeslimeOh and Jeff- the Neil Young reference is to the song Harvest Moon -- One of my favorites of his. In fact one of the very few Neil Young songs I would choose to listen to all the way through.
limeslimeGeeze after forgetting my login info for what seemed like hours I can now comment: I did five things when I recorded this: 1. Found a Logic tuner plugin that let me know when my flute was right on pitch - gold I tell you 2. Learned that my drum overhead mics need a huge reduction in the high-to-mid range 3. Learned that those same overheads record my classical guitar with incredible fidelity 4. Recorded my Yamaha CP-70 for the first time in about seven years -- its good to have her back 5. Recorded this when I should have been learning my parts for the upcoming Moth Vellum show. My swan song indeed.
JBorckardtThis was not showing-up because of the apostrophe and space in the file name. I fixed it. Sorry about that. I do not recognize the neil young song though.

This is my first major project with Logic Studio. I am reasonably pleased with how it turned out. Take a listen if you have 8 minutes to spare. Peaces - SQO
limeslimeThis suffers from too much synth and blast-out of music -- lets hear the words SQO!
WinManCoool.
JBorckardtSounds good. Id bring the rap up a little in the mix though.

This is the first one for the next jazz vibraphone compilation. It is a rough mix for now, but it is close. Peace-Out: JB

This one came up when I pulled my Sequential Circuits Six-Trak out of hibernation. It has two 300 note sequencers built in and this was one of them that I recorded about five years ago. Fortunately I also own the drum machine that accompanies this and its all voltage controlled (even though both of these machines were among the first to have MIDI in 1983.) So youre hearing the happy marriage via voltage pulses between the two. I created the synth tones on the Six-Trak but the Drumtraks samples are the original 8-bit gems. Enjoy.
WinManNeeds more cowbell!
JBorckardtIt kinda draws-up some memories of Ponch and John but it could also be the new theme to Knight Rider. Did you create all of those sounds? Theyre very nice. I would love to get better at synthesizing tones and stuff.

This is the pass taken by the band at Whalehead 2 recorded last week during our five-day session to make some headway on our second album. My original demo should be posted soon.
JBorckardtI will be looking forward to that album. I listened again recently to the whole first one through headphones. It blows my mind!
limeslimeThanks Jeff! I came away from our recording session with tons of great demo recordings. We havent made a lot of progress on the actual album tracks but were on our way.
JBorckardtThis is very cool. I love how your music shifts time signatures so seamlessly. I havent got to the place where I feel comfortable composing like that but probably should try it more. Awesome!
